The Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) program provides grants of up to $3 million for industry-led collaborative research projects.

The program particularly seeks to support projects aligned to Government priorities, including the National Reconstruction Fund priority areas.

The CRC-P program supports industry-led collaborative research projects that solve industry challenges.

Round 16 of the program particularly seeks to support projects aligned to the National Reconstruction Fund priority areas, including:

  • Value-add in resources (e.g. manufacturing supporting products, mineral processing)
  • Value-add in agriculture, forestry and fisheries (e.g. manufacturing supporting products, primary processing)
  • Transport
  • Medical science
  • Renewables and low emission technologies, including recycling
  • Defence capability
  • Enabling capabilities (e.g. advanced manufacturing, AI, quantum, robotics and other advanced technologies).

Grants of between $100,000 and $3 million are available, and cover up to 50% of project costs.
