Collaborations including at least: Two Australian industry entities, One Australian research organisation. Lead applicants must be an SME (that is, have fewer than 200 employees).

Grants of between $100,000 and $3 million are available, and cover up to 50% of project costs.

Applications close on 5 June 2024.

The Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) program provides grants of up to $3 million for industry-led collaborative research projects.

The program particularly seeks to support projects aligned to Government priorities, including the National Reconstruction Fund priority areas.

What is the Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) program for?

The CRC-P program supports industry-led collaborative research projects that solve industry challenges.

Round 16 of the program particularly seeks to support projects aligned to the National Reconstruction Fund priority areas, including:

Value-add in resources (e.g. manufacturing supporting products, mineral processing)
Value-add in agriculture, forestry and fisheries (e.g. manufacturing supporting products, primary processing)
Transport
Medical science
Renewables and low emission technologies, including recycling
Defence capability
Enabling capabilities (e.g. advanced manufacturing, AI, quantum, robotics and other advanced technologies).
